B.C. Reg. 188/2004, deposited April 30, 2004, pursuant to the EMERGENCY COMMUNICATIONS CORPORATION ACT [Section 14 (2) (b)]. Order in Council 430/2004, approved and ordered April 29, 2004.

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders that the following regulation is made:

ADDITIONAL PURPOSE REGULATION

Additional purpose prescribed

1 For the purpose of section 3 (2) (b) of the Emergency Communications Corporation Act, an emergency communications corporation named in Column 1 of the following table is authorized to have the additional purpose set out opposite in Column 2:

E-Comm Emergency Communications for Southwest British Columbia Incorporated to enter into agreements with telephone services providers by which 9-1-1 telephone access to emergency services to members of the public will be provided by the telephone service providers
