B.C. Reg. 196/2004, deposited April 30, 2004, pursuant to the PETROLEUM AND NATURAL GAS ACT [Section 133 (2)]. Order in Council 422/2004, approved and ordered April 29, 2004.

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders that section 2 (e) of the Petroleum and Natural Gas General Regulation, B.C. Reg. 357/98, is repealed and the following substituted:

(e) for an application under section 15 (6) of the Drilling and Production Regulation for a Well Authorization,

(i) $8 600 in respect of the first well on a surface lease, and

(ii) $8 000 in respect of each subsequent well on a surface lease.
