B.C. Reg. 275/2004, deposited June 18, 2004, pursuant to the EMPLOYMENT AND ASSISTANCE ACT [Sections 35, 36 and 37] and the EMPLOYMENT AND ASSISTANCE FOR PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES ACT [Sections 26, 27 and 28]. Order in Council 625/2004, approved and ordered June 17, 2004.
On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders that, effective July 1, 2004, the Employment and Assistance Regulation, B.C. Reg. 263/2002, and the Employment and Assistance for Persons with Disabilities Regulation, B.C. Reg. 265/2002, are amended according to the attached schedule.

Schedule
1 The Employment and Assistance Regulation, B.C. Reg. 263/2002, is amended in section 57,
(a) in subsection (2) by adding the following paragraph:
(g) transportation costs, living costs, child care costs and fees resulting from
(i) the required attendance of a recipient in the family unit at a hearing, or
(ii) other requirements a recipient in the family unit must fulfil
in connection with the exercise of a maintenance right assigned to the minister under section 20 [categories that must assign maintenance rights]. and
(b) in subsection (4) (b) by striking out "subsection (1) (f)" and substituting "subsection (1) (f) or (g)".
2 The Employment and Assistance for Persons with Disabilities Regulation, B.C. Reg. 265/2002, is amended in section 55,
(a) in subsection (2) by adding the following paragraph:
(g) transportation costs, living costs, child care costs and fees resulting from
(i) the required attendance of a recipient in the family unit at a hearing, or
(ii) other requirements a recipient in the family unit must fulfil in connection with the exercise of a maintenance right assigned to the minister under section 17 [categories that must assign maintenance rights]. and
(b) in subsection (4) (b) by striking out "subsection (1) (f)" and substituting "subsection (1) (f) or (g)".
