B.C. Reg. 300/2004, deposited June 30, 2004, pursuant to the DRINKING WATER PROTECTION ACT [Section 48 (2) (a)]. Order in Council 654/2004, approved and ordered June 30, 2004.

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Administrator, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders that effective November 1, 2005, section 14 of the Drinking Water Protection Regulation, B.C. Reg. 200/2003, is repealed and the following substituted:

Well floodproofing

14 For the purpose of section 16 of the Act, the following persons must floodproof their wells in the manner described in section 11 (2) (a) and (b) of the Ground Water Protection Regulation:

(a) the owner or operator of a well that provides or may provide drinking water and that is identified in an assessment as being at risk of flooding;

(b) the owner of a well completed after October 31, 2005 that is for the purpose of supplying a water supply system.
