B.C. Reg. 317/2004, deposited July 8, 2004, pursuant to the ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT ACT [Section 179], the ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT AMENDMENT ACT, 2004 [Section 26] and the WATER, LAND AND AIR PROTECTION STATUTES AMENDMENT ACT, 2004 [Section 21]. Order in Council 720/2004, approved and ordered July 7, 2004.

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders that the following are brought into force by this regulation:

(a) the Environmental Management Act, S.B.C. 2003, c. 53, except sections 143 (b), 144, 158, 159 and 178 (b);

(b) sections 1, 2, 15, 16 (a), (b), (d), (e) and (f) of the Environmental Management Amendment Act, 2004, S.B.C. 2004, c. 18;

(c) section 3 (a) of the Environmental Management Amendment Act, 2004, S.B.C. 2004, c. 18, insofar as it enacts a definition of "approved professional";

(d) sections 2 to 9 of the Water, Land and Air Protection Statutes Amendment Act, 2004, S.B.C. 2004, c. 30.
