On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Administrator, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders that, effective January 1, 2005, the Water Regulation, B.C. Reg. 204/88, is amended as set out below:

1 Section 1.1 of the Water Regulation, B.C. Reg. 204/88, is repealed and the following substituted:

Industrial purpose

1.1 Any use of water in British Columbia, and any use of water at a place in British Columbia, that is listed in items 1 (c), 2 (a), 4 (b), 5 (a) or 6 (b) of Part 2 of Appendix A is designated as a use included under industrial purpose.

2 Section 7 (4), (5), (13) and (14) is amended by striking out "$50" and substituting "$60".

3 Schedule A is amended

(a) by repealing Part 2 and substituting Part 2 as set out in the attached Appendix A,

(b) by repealing item 11 of Part 3 and substituting sections 11 and 11.1 (a) and (b) as set out in the attached Appendix B, and

(c) by repealing item 12 of Part 3.
