B.C. Reg. 516/2004, deposited December 3, 2004, pursuant to the ADMINISTRATIVE TRIBUNALS ACT [Section 191], HOSPITAL ACT [Sections 46 and 56] and the NATURAL PRODUCTS MARKETING (BC) ACT [Sections 8 (2) (b) and 22 (4) (b)]. Order in Council 1143/2004, approved and ordered December 2, 2004.
On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders that, effective December 3, 2004,
(a) sections 6 to 9 and 13 to 15 of the Attorney General Statutes Amendment Act, 2004, S.B.C. 2004, c. 57, are brought into force,
(b) sections 67 to 69, 101 to 103, 120 to 127, 174 to 176 and 179 to 188 of the Admninistrative Tribunals Act, S.B.C. 2004, c. 45, are brought into force,
(c) the Hospital Act Regulation, B.C. Reg. 121/97, is amended as follows:
(i) in section 7 (1) (a) by striking out "is a member or registrant in good standing of one or more of the following:" and substituting "is a person who is authorized to practise a profession regulated by one or more of the following:",
(ii) by repealing section 8 (6), (7) and (8);
(iii) by repealing section 10, and
(d) the Natural Products Marketing (BC) Act Regulations, B.C. Reg. 328/75, is amended as follows:
(i) by deleting the heading "General" before section 1;
(ii) by deleting the heading "Provincial Board" before section 4;
(iii) by deleting the heading "Rules of Appeal" before section 6;
(iv) by repealing sections 5 to 7 and substituting the following:
6.1 The fee for filing an appeal under section 8 (1) of the Act is $100.
