B.C. Reg. 520/2004, deposited December 3, 2004, pursuant to the BUSINESS PRACTICES AND CONSUMER PROTECTION ACT [Section 238]. Order in Council 1194/2004, approved and ordered December 2, 2004.

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders that

(a) Order in Council 629/2004 is amended by striking out "January 1, 2005," and substituting "January 1, 2006,"

(b) Order in Council 627/2004 is amended by repealing paragraph (f) and substituting the following:

(f) effective January 1, 2005, sections 219, 220 and 229 of the Business Practices and Consumer Protection Act are brought into force,

(f.1) effective January 1, 2006, Part 5 and sections 196, 207, 216, 218 and 221 to 228 of the Business Practices and Consumer Protection Act are brought into force , and

(c) Order in Council 627/2004 is amended in paragraph (g) by striking out "January 1, 2005," and substituting "January 1, 2006," .
