B.C. Reg. 13/2024, deposited February 5, 2024, under the PROVINCIAL SALES TAX ACT [section 240 (1)]. Order in Council 34/2024, approved and ordered February 5, 2024.

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders that,

(a) effective June 1, 2024, the Designated Accommodation Area Tax Regulation, B.C. Reg. 93/2013, is amended as set out in the attached Schedule 1, and

(b) effective March 1, 2024, the Designated Accommodation Area Tax Regulation, B.C. Reg. 93/2013, is amended as set out in the attached Schedule 2.

Schedule 1

1 Schedule 1 to the Designated Accommodation Area Tax Regulation, B.C. Reg. 93/2013, is amended

(a) in column 3 opposite item 2 by striking out "2%" and substituting "3%", and

(b) in column 4 opposite item 2 by striking out "June 1, 2024" and substituting "June 1, 2029".

Schedule 2

1 Schedule 2 to the Designated Accommodation Area Tax Regulation, B.C. Reg. 93/2013, is amended in column 4 opposite item 15 by striking out "March 1, 2024" and substituting "March 1, 2029".
