On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders that the Administrative Penalties (Environmental Management Act) Regulation, B.C. Reg. 133/2014, is amended as set out in the attached Schedule.

Schedule

1 The Administrative Penalties (Environmental Management Act) Regulation, B.C. Reg. 133/2014, is amended by adding the following section:

Prescribed provisions of Single-Use and Plastic Waste Prevention Regulation

36.1 A person who contravenes section 3 (1), 5, 6 (3), 8 (3), 11 (1), (3) or (5), 12 (1), 13 (1), 14 (1) or 15 (1) of the Single-Use and Plastic Waste Prevention Regulation is liable to an administrative penalty not exceeding $40 000.
