On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders that

(a) effective November 1, 2024, the Provincial Court Family Rules, B.C. Reg. 120/2020, are amended as set out in the attached Schedule 1,

(b) effective April 1, 2025, the Provincial Court Family Rules are amended as set out in the attached Schedule 2, and

(c) effective November 1, 2025, the Provincial Court Family Rules are amended as set out in the attached Schedule 3.

Schedule 1

1 Rule 6 of the Provincial Court Family Rules, B.C. Reg. 120/2020, is amended in paragraph (a) by adding "Port Coquitlam," before "Surrey".

2 Rule 9 is repealed and the following substituted:

Early resolution registry

9 The rules set out in this Part apply in the following early resolution registries, as set out in rule 6 (a) [parts that apply in certain registries]:

(a) Port Coquitlam;

(b) Surrey;

(c) Victoria.

Schedule 2

1 Rule 6 of the Provincial Court Family Rules, B.C. Reg. 120/2020, is amended in paragraph (a) by adding "Abbotsford, Chilliwack, New Westminster," before "Port Coquitlam".

2 Rule 9 is repealed and the following substituted:

Early resolution registry

9 The rules set out in this Part apply in the following early resolution registries, as set out in rule 6 (a) [parts that apply in certain registries]:

(a) Abbotsford;

(b) Chilliwack;

(c) New Westminster;

(d) Port Coquitlam;

(e) Surrey;

(f) Victoria.

Schedule 3

1 Rule 6 of the Provincial Court Family Rules, B.C. Reg. 120/2020, is amended

(a) in paragraph (a) by striking out "Port Coquitlam, Surrey" and substituting "North Vancouver, Pemberton, Port Coquitlam, Richmond, Sechelt, Surrey, Vancouver (Robson Square)", and

(b) in paragraph (b) by striking out "Kelowna, Nanaimo and Vancouver (Robson Square)" and substituting "Kelowna and Nanaimo".

2 Rule 9 is repealed and the following substituted:
