I, Niki Sharma, K.C., Attorney General, order that the Official Reporters (Supreme Court) Regulation, B.C. Reg. 227/2021, is amended as set out in the attached Schedule.

Schedule

1 Section 6 of the Official Reporters (Supreme Court) Regulation, B.C. Reg. 227/2021, is repealed and the following substituted:

Transcripts

6 An authorized reporter who transcribes some or all of a proceeding must, subject to any directions of the Supreme Court,

(a) transcribe the proceeding or portion of the proceeding in electronic form, and

(b) in the case of a transcript of oral reasons for judgment, deliver the electronic transcript to the Supreme Court registry in which the proceeding was commenced.

2 Section 7 is amended

(a) in subsection (1) by striking out "certified by" and substituting "accompanied by a certificate of", and

(b) by repealing subsection (3).
