On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders that the Forgiveness of Debts and Obligations Regulation, B.C. Reg. 269/92, is amended as set out in the attached Schedule.

Schedule

1 Section 1 of the Forgiveness of Debts and Obligations Regulation, B.C. Reg. 269/92, is amended by repealing the definition of "collection officer".

2 The table in section 2 is amended

(a) in paragraph (e) in column 1 of item 1 by striking out "Corporate and Ministry Support Services Division" and substituting "Corporate Services Division",

(b) in column 1 of item 3 by repealing paragraph (b), and

(c) in column 1 of item 3 by repealing paragraph (c) and substituting the following:

(c) a director, manager or supervisor in the Revenue Division who supervises employees responsible for

(i) collecting debts or obligations, or

(ii) reviewing recommendations, from service providers who collect debts or obligations, to forgive all or part of a debt or obligation .
