NAME ACT REGULATION

Fees

1 Under the Name Act the fee

(a) on filing an application for a Change of Name shall be $137 for the applicant and $27 for each person who is listed in the application as a person whose name will be changed by reason of a change of name of the applicant, which fees include the issuance of one certificate of Change of Name for the applicant and each listed person and the cost of publication of the certificates in the Gazette following approval of the application.

(b) for a search of one registration of Change of Name shall be $27 for each 3 year period or part of a 3 year period covered by the search,

(i) $27 including the fee for a search covering one 3 year period, or

(ii) $60 including, where same day search service is offered and requested, the fee for a search that same day covering one 3 year period, and

(d) for copies of documents supporting an application for Change of Name shall be $50.
