Financial Institutions Act

CREDIT UNION CENTRAL OF BRITISH COLUMBIA
CREDIT CARD AND DEBIT CARD DEPOSITS
EXEMPTION REGULATION

Definitions

1 In this regulation:

"Act" means the Financial Institutions Act;

"Central" means Credit Union Central of British Columbia.

Exemption from section 82

2 Section 82 of the Act does not apply to Central in respect of Mastercard credit card and Mastercard debit card deposits received by Central from, or on behalf of, persons who are members of a credit union incorporated in British Columbia.
