CREDIT UNION DEPOSIT INSURANCE
FUND PROTECTION SYMBOL REGULATION

Interpretation

1 In this regulation "fund protection symbol" means the symbol that under section 274 of the Financial Institutions Act is issued by the commission to each credit union for designating coverage under the fund.

Use of symbol in letterhead

2 When reproduced on a credit union's stationery or advertising in accordance with section 274 (1) of the Act, the fund protection symbol shall not be incorporated as part of the heading at the top of the credit union's letterhead.
