1The Sunshine Coast Regional District is granted the power to develop, as an extended service, on its own behalf or as an agent of the Province of British Columbia, land owned by the regional district or Crown land, for use as a commercial or industrial development.
2The Sunshine Coast Regional District is granted the additional power to provide Central Dispatch Emergency Telephone Service as an extended service.

3The Sunshine Coast Regional District is granted the additional power to provide, as a local service, capital financing and construction for road improvements on Woodland and Chamberlain Roads.

4The Sunshine Coast Regional District is granted the same power that a municipality has under the Emergency Program Act.
