Exemptions

1   (1) The following organizations are exempted from the application of sections 13 [service plans], 14 [major capital plans] and 16 [annual service plan reports] of the Budget Transparency and Accountability Act:

BC Transportation Financing Authority;

BCIF Management Ltd.;

British Columbia Enterprise Corporation;

Canadian Blood Services;

Creston Valley Wildlife Management Authority;

Provincial Rental Housing Corporation;

Rapid Transit Project 2000 Ltd.

(2) The following organizations are exempted from the application of sections 13 [service plans] and 16 [annual service plan reports] of the Budget Transparency and Accountability Act:

(a) Organized Crime Agency of British Columbia;

(b) Nechako-Kitamaat Development Fund Society;

(c) Leading Edge Endowment Fund;

(d) BC PNP Fast Track Fund Ltd.;

(i) Health Employers Association of British Columbia;

(j) Community Social Services Employers' Association of British Columbia (CSSEA);

(k) British Columbia Public School Employers' Association;

(l) The Post-Secondary Employers' Association;

(m) Crown Corporations Employers Association;

(n) British Columbia Trade and Invest Ltd.;

(o) Real Estate Foundation of British Columbia.

BC Rail

3   The British Columbia Railway Company and its subsidiaries, as defined in section 1 of the British Columbia Railway Act,

(a) are exempted from the application of sections 13 [service plans] and 14 [major capital plans] of the Budget Transparency and Accountability Act, and

(b) with respect to the 2010/2011 and subsequent fiscal years, are exempted from the application of section 16 [annual service plan reports] of the Budget Transparency and Accountability Act.

Limited exemption for Pacific Carbon Trust and Provincial Capital Commission

4   The following organizations are exempted from the application of section 13 [service plans] of the Budget Transparency and Accountability Act for the 2014/2015 fiscal year:

(a) Pacific Carbon Trust Inc.;

(b) Provincial Capital Commission.

Limited exemption for Private Career Training Institutions Agency

5   The Private Career Training Institutions Agency is exempted from the application of section 13 [service plans] of the Budget Transparency and Accountability Act for the 2015/2016 fiscal year.

Limited exemption for Real Estate Council of British Columbia

6   The Real Estate Council of British Columbia is exempted from the application of section 13 [service plans] of the Budget Transparency and Accountability Act for the 2017/2018 fiscal year.

Limited exemption for BC Infrastructure Benefits Inc.

7   BC Infrastructure Benefits Inc. is exempted from the application of sections 13 [service plans] and 16 [annual service plan reports] of the Budget Transparency and Accountability Act for the 2019/2020 fiscal year.
