B.C. Reg. 34/2024, deposited March 1, 2024, under the FOREST ACT [section 169]. Order in Council 91/2024, approved and ordered March 1, 2024.

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders that, effective March 1, 2024,

(a) paragraph (b) of B.C. Reg. 11/2023 is repealed, and

(b) for the purposes of section 169 of the Forest Act, the areas of Crown land outlined in heavy black and shaded grey on the maps designated as

(i) Schedule 1 of 9 (Central Walbran Valley),

(ii) Schedule 3 of 9 (Crystalline Creek),

(iii) Schedule 7 of 9 (Skagit-Silverdaisy), and

(iv) Schedule 8 of 9 (Stockdale Creek)

in the Ministry of Water, Land and Resource Stewardship GeoBC file named

Old_Growth_PT13_No1_20221116 are continued as Old Growth Designated Area No. 1 for the period ending September 30, 2026, it being in the public interest to do so.
