B.C. Reg. 35/2024, deposited March 1, 2024, under the WILDLIFE ACT [section 108] and OFFENCE ACT [section 132]. Order in Council 92/2024, approved and ordered March 1, 2024.

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders that, effective March 1, 2024,

(a) the Permit Regulation, B.C. Reg. 253/2000, is amended as set out in the attached Appendix 1, and

(b) the Violation Ticket Administration and Fines Regulation, B.C. Reg. 89/97, is amended as set out in the attached Appendix 2.

Appendix 1

1 Section 3 (2) of the Permit Regulation, B.C. Reg. 253/2000, is amended

(a) by repealing paragraph (a) and substituting the following:

(a) a provision of the Motor Vehicle Prohibition Regulation; , and

(b) in paragraph (b) by striking out "section 2, 3, 6, 7 or 9 to 14" and substituting "sections 9 to 14".

2 Section 16 (2) (b) (ii) (B) is amended by adding "," after "the Firearm Act".

Appendix 2

1 Schedule 2 of the Violation Ticket Administration and Fines Regulation, B.C. Reg. 89/97, is amended by repealing the heading "Motor Vehicle Prohibition Regulation, B.C. Reg. 196/99" and substituting "Motor Vehicle Prohibition Regulation".

2 Schedule 2 is amended under the heading "Motor Vehicle Prohibition Regulation"

(a) by repealing the following as indicated:
