The board of the British Columbia Energy Regulator orders that, effective March 1, 2024, the Drilling and Production Regulation, B.C. Reg. 282/2010, is amended as set out in the attached Schedule.

Schedule

1 Section 1.1 of the Drilling and Production Regulation, B.C. Reg. 282/2010, is amended by adding the following paragraph:

(c) a facility for manufacturing hydrogen, ammonia or methanol from petroleum, natural gas, water or another substance.

2 Section 13 is amended

(a) in subsection (2) (c) by striking out "his or her" and substituting "the driller’s", and

(b) in subsection (3) (c) by striking out "his or her" and substituting "their".
