On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders that the Judicial Compensation Regulation, B.C. Reg. 83/2023, is amended as set out in the attached Schedule.

Schedule

1 The Judicial Compensation Regulation, B.C. Reg. 83/2023, is amended by adding the following section:

2022 commission

3 (1) This section applies in respect of the costs of participation in the 2022 commission established under section 2 of the Act.

(2) Despite section 2, the amount for the purposes of section 7.1 (2) of the Act is 100% of costs to a maximum of $116 000.

(3) This section is repealed on December 31, 2024.
