B.C. Reg. 196/2024, deposited July 8, 2024, under the MOTOR FUEL TAX ACT [section 71]. Order in Council 452/2024, approved and ordered July 6, 2024.

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders that section 17 (1) of the Motor Fuel Tax Regulation, B.C. Reg. 414/85, is amended by striking out everything before paragraph (a) and substituting the following:

(1) If a carrier’s base jurisdiction is the Province, or is not the Province or an IFTA jurisdiction, and the carrier is seeking to obtain or renew an IFTA licence, the carrier must submit to the director .
