On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders that, effective May 21, 2024, the Land Owner Transparency Regulation, B.C. Reg. 250/2020, is amended as set out in the attached Schedule.

Schedule

1 Part 3 of the Land Owner Transparency Regulation, B.C. Reg. 250/2020, is amended by adding the following section:

First Nations exempt from filing transparency declarations and transparency reports

21.22 A First Nation, as defined in section 365.1 of the Land Title Act, is exempt from the requirement to file transparency declarations and transparency reports.
